Airbnb’s policy also addresses other security devices, such as noise decibel monitors and smart home devices. Noise decibel monitors are permitted if they do not record or transmit conversations. Smart home devices that monitor indoor spaces are not allowed, but smart home devices that control lighting or temperature are permitted.
